La Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Competencia Econ\u00f3mica (COFECE) public\u00f3 hoy el aviso de inicio de la investigaci\u00f3n IO-002-2019 por la posible realizaci\u00f3n de pr\u00e1cticas monop\u00f3licas absolutas en el mercado de la producci\u00f3n, distribuci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n de impermeabilizantes en territorio nacional.<\/p>\n
En torno a esta investigaci\u00f3n, la COFECE explic\u00f3 que los impermeabilizantes son un insumo indispensable para la industria de la construcci\u00f3n, pero tambi\u00e9n para las familias mexicanas que dan mantenimiento preventivo a sus viviendas.<\/p>\n
In this investigation, COFECE may request information in writing, conduct verification visits, as well as summon economic agents that participate or have a relationship with such market to testify. Pursuant to the Federal Antitrust Law, the economic agents that are requested and visited must cooperate and submit the requested information to COFECE.<\/p>\n
La publicaci\u00f3n de dicha investigaci\u00f3n tiene como finalidad proporcionar a cualquier agente econ\u00f3mico con inter\u00e9s en la misma, la oportunidad de coadyuvar y manifestar lo que a su derecho convenga en relaci\u00f3n con las conductas investigadas. Por lo tanto, cualquier persona o empresa que considere que tiene una afectaci\u00f3n en el mercado investigado tendr\u00e1 oportunidad de manifestarlo ante la COFECE.<\/p>\n
