{"id":19665,"date":"2018-12-18T18:01:57","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T00:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.basham.com.mx\/Blog\/?p=1700"},"modified":"2018-12-18T18:01:57","modified_gmt":"2018-12-19T00:01:57","slug":"construction-of-the-mayan-railroad-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basham.com.mx\/en\/construction-of-the-mayan-railroad-2\/","title":{"rendered":"CONSTRUCTION OF THE MAYAN RAILROAD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CONSTRUCTION OF THE\nMAYAN RAILROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 16, 2018, Mexican President, Andr\u00e9s Manuel L\u00f3pez Obrador began\nactivities related to the construction of one of the biggest infrastructure\nprojects he has announced to be developed during his administration, the 1,525km\n(950-mile) Mayan Railroad, same that will link key tourism cities in the\nYucatan peninsula such as Palenque and Canc\u00fan among others and expected to be\ncompleted in four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As announced by Mexico\u00b4s President, most of the\ninvestment to carry out this project is expected to come from private\ncompanies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tender calls to develop the first four sections\nare expected to be released within the following 2 months.
