The Projects allow for private sector participation while maintaining State stewardship of at least 54% through the Federal Electricity Commission (<em>Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Electricidad<\/em>, the \u201cCFE\u201d), and represent a total private investment of USD 4.752 billion, adding 3,320 MW of generation capacity and 1,488 MW of storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below are the key characteristics of the Projects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Key characteristics of the Projects.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technologies:<\/strong> 15 solar photovoltaic Projects and 5 wind Projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Geographical scope:<\/strong> Projects located in 11 Mexican states &#8211; Campeche, Hidalgo, Yucat\u00e1n, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, Tamaulipas, Quintana Roo, Puebla, Veracruz, Zacatecas and Quer\u00e9taro.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Entry into operation:<\/strong> 19% of the Projects are expected to enter into operation between 2026 and 2027, 78% in 2028, and the remaining 3% in 2029.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>CFE High-Efficiency Generation Projects.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Generation and Transmission Projects: <\/strong>CFE will invest approximately USD 7.78 billion in high-efficiency generation and transmission projects, including the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Project<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Technology<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Capacity (MW)<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Investment <\/strong><strong><\/strong> <strong>(USD)<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Status<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Francisco P\u00e9rez R\u00edos Tula II<\/td><td>Hidalgo<\/td><td>Combined cycle<\/td><td>1,013.8<\/td><td>1,388.8 million<\/td><td>Contract executed on December 9, 2025.
