Mexico City, July 2, 2025. The acquisition by Grain Craft, LLC (“Grain Craft”) of Molinos Bunge, S.A. de C.V. (“Bunge Mexico”), a Querétaro-based company that, offers products/services such as milling, feed and beverage concentrates, with two leading agribusiness companies Bunge Milling, LLC and Bunge Milling, Inc., successfully closed on July 1, 2025. This strategic acquisition expands Grain Craft’s North American dry corn milling business, including a key presence in Mexico and the addition of approximately 600 team members and six milling facilities across the U.S. and Mexico.
Basham, Ringe y Correa acted as Mexican legal counsel to Grain Craft, providing advisory services throughout the transaction, including conducting due diligence on Bunge Mexico, advising on the transaction structure and assisting in the review and negotiation of the Securities Purchase Agreement (SPA) and related transaction documentation.
Basham also led multidisciplinary legal assessments and provided counsel on various regulatory and transactional matters, including antitrust, foreign investment, insurance, infrastructure and transportation, environmental law, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, real estate, litigation, labor and social security.
