Mexico City, June 13, 2023.
On June 12, 2023, the Resolution that extends for the fourth time the suspension of terms and deadlines of the procedures to be carried out in the National Water Commission ("CONAGUA"), due to force majeure caused by the computer security incident that occurred on April 13, 2023, was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
The purpose of the Resolution is to inform of the fourth extension of the suspension of terms and deadlines of the procedures carried out by CONAGUA, which has subsisted on April 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28; May 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and 31; and, June 1 and 2, 2023. This fourth extension will extend the suspension to June 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15, 16, 19, 20, 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2023.
This is a result of the disruption of CONAGUA's information technology systems ("IT systems") on April 13, 2023, since it is necessary to isolate the networks and servers of the IT systems in order to reestablish IT operability.
The above is exempted for contracting procedures related to Procurement, Leasing and Services, and Public Works and Related Services, as well as the formalization of the corresponding legal instruments.
