EXPERIENCE
Estefania Martinez Reyes is an attorney specialized in Foreign Trade, Customs, and Regulatory Law, with a strategic focus on the design, implementation, and defense of compliance frameworks for national and multinational companies. Her practice includes comprehensive advisory on Promotion Programs, including IMMEX, PROSEC, and Rule Eight, as well as on Company Certifications (VAT-IEPS and Authorized Economic Operator), from their obtainment to their maintenance and renewal.
She has extensive experience in the expansion of productive processes and the incorporation of sensitive goods, accreditation of the legal stay of assets, structuring of temporary and definitive import operations, as well as in addressing audits and information requests from the authorities.
She also participates in the design of risk mitigation strategies and in the filing of defense actions in customs and administrative matters.
RECENT MATTERS
She represented Mattel de México in the process of obtaining, maintaining, and monitoring its Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certification, providing comprehensive advice on the review and strengthening of its security standards and internal controls in foreign trade matters.
