PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Pedro Said has been a partner at the firm since 2020 and specializes in financial, securities and corporate practices in Mexico City. With more than two decades of experience, he has advised clients on complex financial transactions, both domestically and internationally. His track record includes the structuring and restructuring of loans, securitizations, factoring, leasing and financings, as well as the creation of real and personal guarantees. In addition, he has experience in capital markets and fintech, mergers and acquisitions, incorporation and organization of entities, and corporate governance.
Pedro is the representative for Latin America in the Securities and Capital Markets Committee of the International Bar Association. He frequently writes articles on the financial and corporate sectors, sharing his knowledge and analysis on market trends and regulations. He also participates as a speaker in conferences and forums specialized in financial and securities law.
Prior to joining Basham, Ringe y Correa, he was a Foreign Legal Consultant at a prestigious international law firm based in Houston, Texas, where he was involved in advising clients on financing matters in Latin America.
