Basham, Ringe y Correa acted as one of the legal advisors to Kloeckner Metal Service Centers de México S. de R.L. de C.V. (Kloeckner) regarding the execution of a new loan agreement for the total amount of USD$115’000,000.00
Kloeckner is one of the largest producers-independent distributors of steel and metal products and one of the leading steel service companies worldwide. Based on its distribution and service network of around 160 sites in 13 countries, Kloeckner supplies more than 90,000 customers.
By means of this transaction, Kloeckner continues consolidating its participation in Mexico, adding to the acquisition of National Material of Mexico completed in 2023. The loan funds will be used for working capital, improving the operation of the subsidiaries in Mexico.
