Mexico City, June 13, 2023.
On June 12, 2023, it was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation the "AGREEMENT extending for the fourth time the one suspending the terms and deadlines of the procedures carried out by the National Water Commission ("CONAGUA"), due to force majeure caused by the computer security incident occurred on April 13, 2023".
The purpose of the Agreement is to inform of the fourth extension of the suspension of terms and deadlines of the procedures carried out by CONAGUA, which has subsisted on April 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28; April 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and 31 May; and, June 1 and 2, 2023. For its part, this fourth extension will extend the suspension for the following days June 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2023.
This is a consequence of the disruption of CONAGUA's computer systems on April 13, 2023, since it is necessary to isolate the networks and servers of the computer systems in order to reestablish computer operations.
Exempt from the above are the administrative areas of CONAGUA, in its Central Offices and Basin Organizations and Local Directorates corresponding to its Hydrological-Administrative Regional level that carry out contracting procedures in the area of Procurement, Leasing and Services, and in the area of Public Works and Related Services, as well as the formalization of the corresponding legal instruments.
