Mexico City, April 19th, 2023.
On April 19, 2023, a Resolution that suspended the terms and deadlines of the procedures to be carried out in the National Water Commission (the "CONAGUA" for its Spanish acronym), due to force majeure caused by the computer security incident that occurred on April 13, 2023, was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
The suspension of deadlines and terms will cover April 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2023.
The abovementioned is the consequence of the affectation in the computer systems of CONAGUA that occurred on April 13, 2023, since it is necessary to isolate the networks and servers of the computer systems to reestablish the computer operability.
Exceptions to the above are made only concerning April 13, 2023, for the contracting procedures related to Procurement, Leasing and Services, and Public Works and Related Services, as well as the formalization of the corresponding legal instruments.
