PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Andrés has experience in commercial and investment arbitration, civil and commercial litigation, and corporate matters. Before joining Basham, Andrés worked at an international law firm highly regarded for its arbitration practice, where he represented clients in commercial arbitrations before major arbitration institutions (such as ICC, AAA, ICDR, among others), as well as States in investment arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes of the World Bank. His experience in civil and commercial litigation focuses on complex litigation and cross-border disputes, in both local and federal courts. In corporate matters, Andrés has advised clients on crossborder mergers and acquisitions transactions, as well as on corporate governance and financing issues.
