His practice focuses on tax controversy and litigation, providing legal counsel to national and international clients from a variety of industries, including the successful representation of their interests before the tax authorities during tax audits, conclusive agreements, administrative appeals and nullity claims in state and federal courts, as well before the Supreme Court of Justice.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Before his incorporation to Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C., he previously worked in a boutique law firm where he actively participated for more than two years in the strategy and defense of several national clients in tax matters.
Currently, Jorge Cervantes has been working as an associate of the firm in the tax area, since 2022.
EDUCATION
Jorge Cervantes obtained his law degree from the Iberoamerican University in Mexico City (Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México). He is currently attending a LL.M. in Tax Law and Tax Administration with a major in Tributary Law at the Anáhuac Northern University (Universidad Anáhuac del Norte).
