EXPERIENCE
Arturo Galindo Noguez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and has more than six years of experience in tax and financial advisory. His practice focuses on the design of tax strategies and the handling of tax controversies, with an approach aimed at protecting and optimizing his clients’ interests.
For more than five years, he was part of a global firm specialized in financial and tax services, where he advised national and international companies on tax compliance, tax refund claims, preparation of annual tax returns, ISSIF filings, and statutory tax audit reports of financial statements. He also participated in the handling of audits and reviews conducted by tax authorities.
He has experience in the preparation and supervision of financial information under Mexican Financial Reporting Standards and their convergence with international standards, integrating accounting analysis as a strategic tool for tax decision-making.
His professional approach is based on anticipating risks, structuring tax-efficient solutions, and supporting clients in planning and defense scenarios, providing technical certainty and strategic support in complex regulatory environments.
RECENT MATTERS
Participated in advising Eli Lilly on the calculation of a tax contingency for an approximate amount of USD $75 million, derived from alleged omissions in the withholding of income tax (ISR) in intercompany transactions related to the transfer of usufruct rights over shares and bare ownership, as well as the estimation of the tax basis of the shares.
Participated in advising Chiquita México, S. de R.L. de C.V. on corporate matters related to the definition and granting of powers of attorney to a legal representative in Mexico, enabling the management of matters before the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT) and, in general, tax-related matters.
Participated in advising KOPAR Applied Automation on the determination of a new compensation scheme for its senior executive team, including the analysis of the most appropriate structure for the employment relationship and the payment of salaries, benefits, and compensation.
Participated in advising Millfoods on the determination and calculation of a tax guarantee derived from the authority’s presumption of alleged omissions in the payment of employer–employee social security contributions corresponding to fiscal years 2023 to 2025.
Participated in advising SDI Inc. on the determination of a contingency related to the full payment of intercompany debt, including debt capitalization scenarios, calculation of simple and compound interest, as well as the analysis of income tax implications arising from debt forgiveness and the preparation of a mixed scenario.
