PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Carlos Velázquez de León is the managing partner of the Monterrey office and the head of the Corporate Law area in that office. He is a frequent speaker at national and international forums and a contributor to specialized publications.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS
Member of the Mexican Bar Association, the International Bar Association (IBA), and the American Bar Association Section of International Law (ABA - SIL), where he currently serves as a Council Member and Technology Officer. Former President and Counselor of the Mexico – United States Bar Association (USMBA) and Carlos is currently chair of Lex Mundi.
ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
He has been a Professor at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and the University of Monterrey (UDEM).
