Emilio specializes in the management of Intellectual Property and the provision of legal advisory services, with an emphasis on the prosecution and maintenance of Trademarks and Copyright in Mexico and abroad. His practice also includes drafting and negotiating contracts such as licenses, franchises and assignments, as well as the procurement of fame declarations. His professional background includes the defense of intellectual property rights through admin- istrative proceedings before both administrative authorities and the courts.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS & PUBLICATIONS
He is active member of the Mexican Association for protecting Intellectual Property (AMPPI) in which he is member of the trademarks committee and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Emilio has published articles for some specialized magazines such as Managing Intellectual Property, Mondaq, Lexicology or World Intellectual Property Review.
