PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Guadalupe’s professional practice has focused on anti-competitive practices investigations. Before joining Basham, Guadalupe worked at the two antitrust agencies that exist in Mexico, where she gained broad experience in different sectors such as pharmaceutical, telecommunications, food, and entertainment.
At the Federal Telecommunications Institute, she provided legal advice on different resolution projects regarding the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors. At the Federal Economic Competition Commission, she prepared legal arguments for Commission rulings regarding the trial-like procedure and coordinated an investigation’s legal strategy.
EDUCATION
Obtained her law degree from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) and a Master of Public Policy from The University of Chicago.
