PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Mr. Peredo has broad experience representing national and international clients in all areas of Competition Law, including pre-merger filings before the Competition Commission, investigations for cartel cases and abuse of dominance, leniency applications, compliance programs and general advice on competition matters.
MEMBER OF ASSOCIATIONS
Among other associations, he is a member of the Antitrust Committee of the International Bar Association and of the American Bar Association.
RECOGNITIONS
From 2009 to date, Mr. Peredo has been recognized by publications such as “Chambers & Partners”,” Global Competition Review”, "The Legal 500" and “Who s Who Legal” as one of the best antitrust lawyers in Mexico.
PUBLICATIONS
In 2004 published one of the few books on Mexican antitrust law called (in English) “Economic Competition: Theory and Practice” which is used as a text in many Mexican universities.

He has been a lecturer in antitrust law at two of Mexico's best-known universities.
EDUCATION
Obtained his law degree at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1996.
