Basham, Ringe y Correa strengthens its Environmental Law area and incorporates Paulina Fabara Laphan as counsel.

Mexico City, August 29, 2022.

In response to the needs of its clients and the market, Basham, Ringe y Correa strengthens its environmental law department and incorporates Paulina Fabara Laphan as counsel of the area.

Paulina has more than 20 years of experience in the field, having worked in the energy and extractive activities department of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, where she led the working groups for the development of Mexican Official Standards (NOMs), and participated in the regulatory improvement process in coordination with the Federal Commission for Regulatory Improvement (COFEMER).

He graduated with a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and completed a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Policy at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

He was part of the National Commission for Energy Saving (CONAE), working in the subdirectorate of international affairs, where he was in charge of coordinating programs with international agencies on energy efficiency and renewable energies, and recently, he was manager of environmental management and sustainability at Walmart de México y Centroamérica.
