ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Counsel of the firm Basham, Ringe y Correa SC, in the area of civil and commercial litigation, with more than 20 years of experience in civil and commercial procedures, also has expertise in the drafting of contracts, constitution and execution of guarantees, judicial and extrajudicial negotiations, project leader, legal consultant of national and international companies, with a high sense of urgency, he has participated in multiple procedures of negotiation and resolution of commercial controversies, as well as in the development and execution of legal and commercial strategies, at all times providing multidisciplinary legal solutions, restructuring of liabilities and sale of assets.

He has extensive experience in bankruptcy/insolvency proceedings; his solid and accredited experience in collective proceedings distinguishes him.

He has been a lecturer in Civil, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods at the Universidad del Valle de México and Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has also been a speaker and participant in the IV Iberoamerican Congress of Bankruptcy Law in Punta del Este, Uruguay; the II National Congress of Bankruptcy Law, Guadalajara, Jalisco; the V Iberoamerican Congress of Law in Siena, Italy and the VI Iberoamerican Congress in Rosario, Argentina.

In 2010 he participated in the "International Cross-border Insolvency and Restructuring" Seminar in Mexico.

He has the patent of Private Mediator #335 of the CDMX.

He was an academic at Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching Amparo; at La Salle Hacienda Arboledas, teaching the subjects of Notions of Mexican Positive Law and Training (1999-2003).
