Mexico City, June 8th, 2020.

On June 04, 2020 the National Hydrocarbons Commission (“CNH”) published in the Federal Official Gazette an administrative resolution declaring the extension of the suspension of all terms and proceedings before such authority from June 01, 2020 until the sanitary authorities determine that there are no epidemiologic risks related to the gradual, careful and organized opening of the federal public administration activities.

Likewise, on same date, the National Center of Energy Control (“CENACE”) published a resolution declaring the extension of the suspension of all terms and proceedings until June 14, 2020.

The above determinations were made considering the sanitary emergency that Mexico and the world is facing in connection with the disease known as coronavirus or COVID-19 and in particular the measures to face such disease declared by the Mexican Health Ministry.

The lawyers of the energy and infrastructure area at the firm are available for any questions or comments on the above.
